Currently accepting applications for undergraduate research assistants

The Harvard Health and Psychophysiology Lab is currently accepting applications for undergraduate research assistants for fall 2009!

Research assistants will learn the basics related to physiological assessment, including applying sensors for monitoring autonomic nervous system recording (blood pressure, impedance cardiography, electrocardiography), muscle movement (electromyography), and hormone assessment, as well as learn how to ensemble physiological data, analyze, and interpret the data.

Prerequisites:  No courses or research experience required - just enthusiasm, dedication, and an interest in psychophysiological research.

Expectations:  A full year commitment is required, with a minimum of 10 hours spent in the lab.

How to apply:  Contact Kristin Concannon, Lab Manager at concann@wjh.harvard.edu to set up a time for an interview. Include a resume/vita, and briefly describe yourself and why you are interested in Professor Mendes' lab.
